How long is a Ridgewood Baptist gathering? In total, our service is about 70 minutes in length. Services begin with leading the church in worship through music. We use a combination of a hymnal and music on a screen so you can sing along. As we continue through our time of worship, we offer prayers and hear Scripture read. After the that portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will bring a message from the Bible. Our messages are relevant, applicable and generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. After the sermon, we sing a song and close in prayer.
Sunday's at RBC are exciting, and have a family atmosphere. There isn’t a dress code but do come expecting to feel welcomed as our guest and ready to learn more about Jesus Christ.
What about my kids? We believe that kids should be exited to attend our services every single week - and at Ridgewood Kids, our desire is to make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our “Ridgewood Kids” the first time that you visit. You will be asked to login on our mobile device and receive a badge with a number that is assigned to your child. After the service, you may present the badge to our Calvary Life staff, and they will bring your child and his/her things to you. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get them signed in for the Calvary Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered at every service for kids ages infant through Grade 8.
